Outstanding results - BCCS staff and students are celebrating our continued upward trend in GCSE success.
BCCS English department are celebrating 93% of our students qualifying in English for their GCSEs, outperforming national averages.
English Language students gained pass rates of 88.8% 9-4 grades; with the average student grade as a 6. The national average is 60.2%,
English Literature students gained pass rates of 91.8% 9-4 grades; with the average grade of a 6. The national average is 74.2%.
We have never seen our students as statistics - these figures highlight the hard work of our students in a purposeful and supportive learning environment and we hope they can be proud of these excellent outcomes. The department wish all of our outgoing year 11 the very best wishes for their onward studies and careers. We hope you will take pride in your achievements and remember the strategies and thought processes that have got you there.
